Undergraduate adviser for students in the two undergraduate majors administered by the Department: Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering; prepares quarterly class schedules and course approval forms; coordinates student petitions and exception requests; assists with the development and implementation of outreach, recruitment, admissions, and retention efforts for undergraduate students. Coordinator for ongoing review and evaluation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology [ABET]. Represents department at outreach and recruitment functions that include, among others, Preview Day, High School Scholars Day, annual student orientations, and parent/student visitations, and advisor meetings. Assists Vice Chair with teaching assistant and reader appointments; directs student evaluation of instructors and teaching assistants.
